As some of you know, my Finley has been poorly for a long time now. I was due to take my little monkey to the vet tomorrow to see his progress and make final decisions.

Tonight I went to give him his water he is having every 2 hours and he had gone to the bridge. No matter how much he bit or got angry, I loved him even more for his big character! His favourite toy was a wicker type carrot which he always took into his bed. I want to share some of my favourite photos of my little Finball.

aww hunny, i know I have allready said this, but he knows how much you loved him, you have cared so well for him in the past few weeks, he wasnt the worlds most human loving man, but he knew how to get what he wanted, his short time with you before his sickness must have been wonderful, i dont know what his past home was, but living in an alexander is a dream come true, with a loving, caring mum.
if there was no sickness in the world, we wouldnt loose them so young, and in such a hurtful way, but we have to do what we can when sickness hits, you done everything you could for him, and he knew it.
run free little lad, go find those lil ones up there who didnt make it, pass on my love to my roebucks who are forever missed and loved xxx

I've told him to be play well, look after the other hammys and give them all a snuggle for me :) He now has a spot in the garden next to my Sydney. Im still really upset, I got very attached to him in the short time I had him, even if he didn't like cuddles. Thank you guys xxx

Finley sounds a lot like my Smokey, who also bit and wasn't very friendly. Finley looks like a very curious fellow in the photos and had a wonderfully bright looking face. So sorry you lost this engaging little guy.
