Our lovely Daisy passed away overnight, so sad, I had tears for most of the morning. Despite having had hamsters in the past, Daisy was really special.
She was a month off her second birthday, we'd had her since May 2011.
Such had a huge personality, she's left such a huge void.
Been smiling amid the upset this afternoon remembering the time of bringing her home, where she chewed her way through the box and nearly escaped in the car, the times she kept eating the bath plug instead of playing in the bath, the holes we got in the towels from her teeth, the fact she'd get irritated if you gave her any less than 3 monkey nuts or 3 chocolates, the way she attacked a box but it had to be a plain brown one and of a certain size, the way she insisted on having her treats in certain places, wouldn't put her potty in the corner no matter how often we moved it, she moved it back and the fact she loved my husband Harvey almost to the exclusion of everyone else. She was such a character. Despite my fur phobia, I even gave her a smooth this morning and she is going out in style in a lovely pink box. Being buried in my friends garden as we don't have one, with some daffodils above her - as I'm welsh.
Always remembered with love, Our sweet Daisy - 11-feb-2011 - 12-jan-2013
