Our beautiful Hullabaloo passed over to the rainbow bridge shortly before Christmas. We knew he was an old man and likely the last of his litter but his passing leaves a great gap in our lives because he was such a lovely little guy with the sweetest of temperaments. He was one of our Sunbru litter and exactly what we wanted when we bred his parents - a LH RE cream rex. He seemed to put most of his energy in to growing an amazing coat and to the day he died he kept the most lush coat but the joy of Hully was his nature. He loved life, he loved food, he loved cuddles and he loved lady hamsters courting and singing to every lady hamster who ever came into the hamster room.
He was always first up and sitting meerkating on his shelf making big eyes at you to come out ;) When you took him out he would rest patiently on your chest and you felt his warmth and his pleasure in being snuggled. He was always the test hamster for little kids who came to see hamsters and learn to handle them and has left his legacy in his gentleness and his showing to these little ones how lovely hamsters are.
Hullabaloo it was an honour to share your life journey and to have you here with us to treasure. You will be so much missed but we hope that the Custard Hamsters who greet you at the bridge will look after you till we meet again. Dance on the stars beautiful boy x
Love you - Souffle, Pophammy and BigD x

What a lovely legacy for Hullabaloo to leave, all those children who got to experience the joy of handling a hamster for the first time through him. Play well at the bridge, gorgeous boy.
