Went into PAH to buy a couple of bendy bridges for Hamish's cage and made the mistake of noticing this beautiful little girl and well... she came home with me!

(DH has put his foot down, 3 cages is enough. I agree with him, I don't think I can find room for any more :rolleyes:)

Would anyone be able to tell me what her colouring is? I know she's a hybrid but she looks more like WW colouring to me?

Aww she is adorable. Lucky ham having you as a new mum :) She looks like a Normal pearl WW though she is likely a hybrid as you say.

Will definitely be treating her as a hybrid. Lead to an interesting discussion with my 7 year old daughter about diabetes in both hamsters and humans and talking about which foods she could and couldn't have.

My teeny girl is getting so brave. We've had her 5 days and at first she would squeak if I tried to hold her. Now she will sit on my hands and accept a gentle stroke

She's still a bit fast and easily scared to have play time outside the cage yet so I only handle her inside the cage. She's made such progress in the time we've had her, so proud of my teeny girl :)

She is absolutely gorgeous! I can see why you wanted her :) I am now banned from going to the Adoption Centre because I wind my folks up by asking for every ham there.

She was 23g two days after I bought her and yesterday (5 days later) she had put on 5g and weighed 28g. She feels incredibly tiny, especially if I've just been snuggling Hamish. We were told she's 3 months old :confused:

She let me pick her up last night rather than scooping or walking onto my hands from something else, such a brave girl :)

She's around 5 months old now, we don't know her exact age, and still weighs a teeny 28-30g depending on the time of day.
