Sleep Peacefully Rue

I came home from work about an hour ago to find my beloved Rue passed away. I happened to look down into her cage and there she was, motionless in her favourite tube. I bought her some new toys last week which she seemed to like bless her. I don't know how old she was, I was told she was 5 or 6 months when I rescued her a year ago this month, but it is possible she was older than 17 or 18 months old.

Rest in Peace sweetheart.

I am very shocked and it won't sink in for a while, we are going to bury her in a little bit.

Oh, I'm so sorry. It must have been such a shock as it was just so unexpected.

I know you must be devastated, but Rue had a brilliant life with you and she is now happily running free in heaven.

I keep forgetting she isn't here and keep going to feed her, her cage hasn't been touched yet (until tomorrow) and it just looks odd without her :(
