one of the girls from our litter has developed a water bottle chewing habit i got her out tonight for some out time checked her and saw a cut near her mouth intail reaction they have started fighting .but after a few minutes I saw her going for the bottle again and she reopened the cut is there anything i can do to stop her in her tracks ?
As I am 90 percent sure is not due to fighting

What cage are they in?

The only solution I've found to water bottle chewing is to move the bottle - either really high so they have to reach right up to get it or really low - they just don't seem to find it as appealing like that.

I've also read of people using those hanging water bottles, something like this:

They swing about when they try to chew them and also have a different type of spout - could be worth a try, Matty.

Try and allow only the very tip through so there is nothing to grip on to chew. Take a block of wood on to the bottle so onlt the very end goes through the bars. If she has a cut I would be tempted to give a pottery bowl of water till it heals. Check the spout is not chewed sharp. If it is you will need to replace ot sadly matty. More expense!
