Sadly my first post in a while is a memorial for both Oscar and Maisie, both unfortunately found passed tonight in their beds. To lose two in one night is heartbreaking but hopefully the causes are unrelated and my other hams remain healthy.

Firstly, Oscar, my little man had just reached his second birthday in October. Bought from breeder Sue at Tuftyfluffs. I watched him go from a tiny baby, to a chubster, to a skinny old man but the whole time he remained happy. A few months back he had an abscess drained under his eye but even then he was otherwise healthy. But this morning was the last time I'd see my little man run on his wheel. I'm happy he reached a decent age and had a good life though, that's all I could ask for.

Then Maisie, (Maisie Moo) Adopted from member Kim, had only just turned one when she passed today. It's not nice to see her leave so soon but she was always having fun. Whether it was hanging upside-down from her bars, climbing on top of her wheel or digging massive tunnels, she was always entertaining to watch. Although she did often give me a fright by dropping from the top of her cage, she was okay though and always came running to the bars to let me know she wasn't hurt. She always seemed so excited to see people and would come running up her ramp and press her face against the bars when you called her.

So sorry you have lost Oscar & Maisie. So sad that Maisie has gone so young. That picture of Oscar sat in the tub was always my favourite of him. He was such a little chubster. :)
Huge hugs to you xxx

:( I am so sad to hear this snickers, I loved Oscar as he was much like my little Mrs Cotton. He was a gorgeous chubby man. Maisie was a little dear too, and so sad to have lost her so young. At least she had a life full of fun and love with you. Hugs for you, RIP little ones
