Name: Charlie
Age: 8 months
Species: Lesser Jerboa
Coat type: Very thin
Color: Red

Charlie is a male. He's born in February 2012, and is very very sweet. He has a very thin coat, and his fur falls of very easily.

Name: Houdina
Age: 9 months
Species: Lesser Jerboa
Coat type: Thin
Color: Red

Houdina is a female. She's born in January 2012, and is very sweet and very smart. I gave her her name "Houdina", because she was able to escape from her box when I got her home ;)

Name: Destiny
Age: 3-4 months
Species: Lesser Jerboa
Coat type: Thick
Color: Sandy

Destiny is a female. She's born in June 2012, and is very sweet. I gave her her name "Destiny" because I believe it's her destiny to be born. She lost her father a few weeks before she and her siblings were born!

What`s going on with the fur on the first jerboa? Do they moult or is the fur patchy? They are very sweet. :)

My 3 have very different personalities.

Charlie is very tame, and loves to sleep in my hand and cuddle.

I can touch Houdina and she is very curious, but she's really shy - and Destiny is just sooo angry xD she will sit behind a rock and make angry noises for hours after being held :lol:

But they don't bite - they love to jump around on the floor or in my bed.

There's nothing wrong with his fur. He only has a different structure from other jerboas, and his coat is VERY thin - it just falls off him very easily.

My old female would sleep with him, holding his fur - it will just fall off him xD

Woah I've never seen these little creatures before. At first it looks like a mouse with sugar glider sized eyes then it's got those super long legs! That picture of the female holding his fur is just too cute.
