Delilah: The Forever Grump

My sweet (Okay, maybe not) girl passed last night in her sleep. I've been expecting it for awhile now, and while I may not be as upset as I probably should be, I will never forget her and my chin room will never be the same without her. A month or so ago she had some bleeding in her lady area, but when I phoned the vet I was told that she was too small and old for treatment and they would suggest having her PTS. She didn't show that she was in pain, so I didn't take her in. It stopped a few days later. She gained two grams and was sleeping a lot more, so I made the decision to move her into a retirement cage last week. This morning when my dad saw Sebastian (A cat that likes to sneak into the chin roon) he went to check on everyone and she was gone, but still warm and curled up into her nest. I'm going to clean out her cage when I'm done here, even though I don't want to. Jäger could really use her wheel, and I know she wouldn't want him to have it! Makes me laugh.

Oh bless her, you know I'm just as big a fan of naughty robos as sweet ones! I didn't realise she was so near the end, I'm sorry she has passed, she was a gorgeous little lady. Play well little Delilah, there are some amazing new robo friends waiting for you at the bridge xx
