:x I couldn't resist!!

Kat and I were both having a very 'down day' and with lots of newly free cages... we accidentally went out and got a couple of new hamsters

Kat came home with a huge Blonde (light grey) female who I am trying to get called Cindy or Barbie :x

I fell in love many many times but kept myself on a tight leash until I saw the Robos! I looked after a pair for three weeks and fell in love! I forgot how much so until I handled this pair!

They are both females, one has a slightly bug eye since she accidentally took a flying leap and knocked herself silly, she's fine, been checked over and all.

I have named them both Tia and Maria, Tia is the dominant female with the bug eye and is slightly larger and happier to sit in my hand. Maria is a bit more timid but not by much! They are only 6 weeks old at the moment and tiny tiny but eventually I would like to find a male and he will be named Luso(sp).

They live in a tank in my bedroom next to my bed so I can lay and watch them because they are plain hillarious! I gave them a mini Silent Spinner (will get a regular one so they both fit) and some toilet roll tubes and egg box and with loads of bedding and hay and tissue, they are never endingly busy critters!

Anyway! Photos are what you will all be wanting!

Everyone should own a pair of Robos!

lovely little lasses! i agree that everyone should have a pair. Much better than fish. I have robos in my bedroom and i love how they amuse me as i sit and read or whatever. It's so relaxing. I admit to putting food or new bedding in the cage just so they'll come out and entertain me stashing/ripping

Gorgeous! I love the fourth pic of Tia poking her head out of the egg box. Totally agree that everyone should own a pair (makes them sound like shoes, doesn't it? :? ), even after the scare that my two have given me I wouldn't trade them in for anything

Oh, and I like the ideal of hamster retail therapy when you're having a bad day!

Very cute little hams. Robos seem to be gaining in popularity. They always have loads in P@H here, more so than Russians these days it seems.

Mine used to do that occasionally. I read somewhere that it's a sign that they're not happy, but more recently mine have discovered how to bite so I guess they don't need that trick any more

It means they are scared and by giving you a ready meal they hope you will be distracted enough to leave them alone to escape
With time and patience I am sure they will get more confident with you
