Thought i would introduce you all to the cats in our family :) first off me have tilly the naughty tortoiseshell girl who is about 3 years old very mischievous

next up is harry we have had him for 14years he is 15 now getting on a bit just a very lazy fat cat but my favourite as in the winter he is like my hot water bottle lays in bed with me and keeps me warm

Oh my gosh, Harry is sooo chubby :D They both look adorable though :D I love torties as with have also have a tortie called Tilly :)

Ever heard the phrase naughty tortie apparently there known for being very mischievous and into everything well tilly certainly is. I worry about harry and his weight its a struggle to lift him he is that heavy makes me wonder if there is some fibroid problem maybe down to his old age as he is piling the weight on needs to go on a kitty diet i think. And lucy lived to a good old age but ended up with many health issues and she let us know it was her time to go she was ready

With our Tilly it is her way or no way! She thinks she is the boss of the house and tells all the other cats what to do :lol: Bearing in mind she is the smallest and chubbiest in the house, I don't know how she gets away with it :lol:

She is also a lazy little madam and likes nothing better than sleeping on her back with her legs stuck up in air. She is so lazy that you her to push her along with your foot to get her out of the living room at night time (the cats aren't allowed in there at night). I think she would lay around in one spot all day if she could :lol:

hahaha that sounds very much like our tilly. She makes me laugh she goes to bed with my mum every night as soon as my mum goes up she does to she lies next to my mum and if my mum don't put her arm round her tilly taps her on the arm basically her way of saying mummy cuddle me. And in the morning she used to dart down stair get her all her toys carry them up the stairs one by one and drop them on the bed next to you, like a dog would do this means she wants play time

I've got a tortie called Tula, must be a T thing. She is also small about half the size of my mums cats

I hadn't heard about torties being naughty untill I had gotten her, the vet said this as she tried to give her her injection when she was 8 weeks old (was a very naughty kitten attacking the vet)

Even now at 4yrs old it's still very much on her terms, you can give her attention only when she wants, you can only stroke her head (any other part of her and she attacks you). She is good for me but only tolerates my family. She has no problem swiping at my dad if he walks to close to her lol

Harry looks good for his age, my cat caspa (r.i.p) used to sleep under the covers with me. He liked to sleep close to me either on my stomach, back or neck. I would wake up not being able to breath because he fell asleep across my neck

Oh god harry would probably give me the worst back ache ever if he tried to lie on me now when he was younger it was ok i need to get that boy weighed and find out just how heavy he is but he is not doing to bad got a bit wobbly on his legs but that could be the weight issue. I love tilly markings the ginger tabby patches she has on the face are cute mum says she looks like a christmas pudding lol
