I just picked up a Ferplast Laura cage for cheap on eBay.....does anyone know if it's possible to join it to other Ferplast cages with the tubes, like the Combi or the Paula cage? I've never seen Ferplast tubes for sale on their own, so do the tubes provided with the cages make connection possible?

(and yes, I know I already have enough cages for the hamsters I have, and no room for any more at the moment......I just saw a bargain and thought it's be a good, erm, holiday cage.....and you never know I might get a Syrian once I'm moved into my new place......)

I was looking at it too  - I recognized your username from elsewhere  so I wasn't too anooyed it went to you 8)

Yes you can connect it to all the other Ferplast caes and you can buy the tubes in all sorts of shapes and sizes seperately - ask around petstores that deal in Ferplast they can order them in for you and they are very reasonable - I have masses and they do sometimes also come up on eBay

Haha, yeah the guy selling it actually lives walking distance from me, I'm going round to pick it up tonight. so saving paying postage.

That's cool I can join it to other cages....if Alfie can manage the tubes this might be the start of his little empire for the new house!

I am sure he loves it - my dwarves certianly like going round and round the tubes and stuff them merrily with food and beddng all the time

Thanks for the link. Sadly Alfie only got to play in the new cage once, although he did manage the tubes - hesitantly at first but then was zooming up and down it.

This cage will hopefully be home to another rescue maybe in a month or so.

Oh, I'm sorry, I didn't realise that cage was Alfie's. My apologies.

If you go get a rescue, I am sure that the cage will be appreciated.
