I have made my mind up to maybe get an older ten month girl at blenheim if there a choice what colours have a long show life. I don’t intend or want to breed from this female but it would be nice to show her and just pamper her in her old age :x

A donation hamster is usually an older hamster that is 'donated' by a breeder/exhibitor to be re-homed at a show. This may be a retired hamster or a hamster that has had a litter.

They make some wonderful pets :D

I am really after a nice older girl to bolster my show numbers on the Syrian side and of course pamper and spoil and just give a nice home as long as she lives :x

Thankyou SpudsMum....I really do need to be careful at Monmouth you know...a donation hamster that needs a loving home is bound to pull on my heart strings!

At this rate....i'll have more hamsters than i'd even heard of till a few weeks ago! I thought having Alvin, my 5th one was quite alot over the years, but I can see me having that in one go soon!!!

Sheesh...a little sedation to break the news to my other half is going to be needed I think!
