Hamlet went to the bridge suddenly & very quickly last evening. He was 21 months old.
Hamlet was a tiny little furball when I first brought him home, my third hamster. For the first few days he was known as Harriet until I noticed his back end was just like my other boy dwarfies.
He had a gorgeous coloured coat which did fade as he got older but he never lost the fluff & boy was he fluffy!

A few minutes after I brought him home

I am so sad to lose him. He was still I thought, as fit as a fiddle. My heart breaks for losing him but I know he had a fab life with me.

A few of my favourite pics of him when he was very young

Maybe he & Huxley will be battling together now!

And my last ever one taken last week

His final resting place right next to Huxley. The flowers are Begonias which I hope fill the pot soon.

oh Rach :( I am so sad and I will miss him loads. Hamlet was very unique and truly one of a kind. His eyes were incredibly soulful and he was a little beauty.

Rest well Hamlet.

Thanks everyone for all your kind replies. I'm missing him so much. :( Especially first thing on a morning too, as he was always up sat in his foodbowl without fail at around 7am. I always gave him an cheeky extra mealworm at this time.

Rach, I commented on Hamlets passing on Facebook but I'm sorry that I haven't as yet left my message in here. Hamlet was such a cute ball of fluff and I admired him for looking so young and not showing his age. He was a lovely little boy. Hope he's settled in well at the bridge now xxx
