Which eye colour do you prefer?

Just curious

I tend to find visitors to the hamstery prefer black eyes to red - evil etc are words used when they refer to red-eyed hamsters.....

I'm not sure whether to vote "red" as I've come across several different shades of red eyes - I love the deep ruby red eyes I think they're gorgeous, but the harsh bright red eyes can be quite off-putting and I'd prefer black eyes to them!!!

I just picked black because to me the black shade look make hamsters look so especially adorable in my opinion, but that wouldn’t stop me from getting a red eye hamster either.

I must admit I do like darker eyes though not necessarily always black. My Mink hamsters develop the most gorgeous deep deep ruby eyes with age.

I voted black eyed but then my favourite colour hammie is cinnamon which is claret red so work that one out! :?

I love claret too. I favour coat colou more than eyes tho. goldens, creams and whites are my favoritst favorites. I've never seen a hamster coat colour that I didnt like tho lol

i voted red because all my hams (except the robos and Molly) have red eyes.
