Thought I know I haven't been to the forum much in the passed few months, I thought this would be the place to share Jojo's passing.
R.I.P Jojo~ 5/24/12
I know to a lot of people you were just another hamster, but to me you were so much more. You were MY first real pet. The first animal that was ever souly mine, and you were the sweetest little hamster anyone could ever ask for.
I got you from a local rescue that specialized in small animals. I remember thinking that was pretty silly at the time. I went in and had an entire litter to choose from of young babies...this of course was your litter. You were in a cage with 2 of your daughters...they hadn't shown signs of aggression towards each other yet, and they were pretty big compared to you.
I remember holding all of them...boys and girls. One of the boys had a mix-matched eye color and it was between you and him. But it never actually was. Because Jojo, you were mine. I knew it from the moment I held you. You were the sweetest, most gentle hamster there ever was, and you were all mine.
I was proud of you, for being so strong, but never aggressive, even when you were the mother of 8 pups. You weren't just the ideal hamster, you were the ideal pet. I had you in my life from October 2010, to May 24, 2012. When I got you, you were already about 6 months old. I've been told thats pretty long for a hamster, but of course I would have loved to have so much more time with you.
Regardless, I hoped you lived a full life Jojo, I hope you enjoyed being part of my life because I certainly enjoyed having you in it. I loved you Baby, always have, always will. Say hi to Oreo for me <3
P.S Sonny misses his neighbor :)
