RIP my sweet Bella xxx

As in my post about poor Bella she has been ill since Easter with Pyometra. She has been on antibiotics since then. She had showed signs of improvement but on Sunday i noticed her eating and drinking less.

Last night she stopped eating altogether apart from a little porridge. I held her all night hoping she would pass on her own but after a few hours she perked up a bit and ate a few sun flower seeds and a bit more porridge. This morning she was sleeping and i didn't want to disturb her.

Sadly when i came home from work she looked very sad and started to develop wet tail.

I took her straight to the vets and we eased her pain and put her to sleep. When i was in the waiting room i placed my hand in her carry box and she climbed half on my hand and wrapped her little hand round my finger. I sat there crying in the waiting room but i knew this was the right thing to do.

RIP my little Bella Roo enjoy playing at the bridge with Goose, Steve and Sookie xxxx

So sorry for your loss. She was a truly beautiful girl. I had my hamster Tillifer put to sleep not long ago because of pyrometra! It's hard and horrible that we have to make the decision but it is a brave and selfless one putting our babies needs first. You gave her the kindest gift anyone could give.
She will be playing well at the bridge now
