what is a display show

what is a display show? i just find it realy confusing what the diffrence beetween a show and a display :?:

A Display isn't a show, the usual people go along and Sue will often bring around 20 hamsters for display for the public to see, there is usually more for the sales table and more display boards for information for the public.

It's so that the paying public have something to see, especially at expensive places to get in such as Blenheim

Display days are nice as you get so much more chance to chat to the public. Show days at big country shows like Thame can be a bit manic as there is so much going on and so many people milling around. Display days are more relaxed and we have a lot of fun! If it is a dry day you might even get a chance to walk around the show ground dressed as a giant hamster!! :lol:
