I thought i would post some pictures of my 3 Syrians. I dug some photographs out in the hope to make a hamster scrap book so i can remember them when im all old and frail :)
My first hamster arrived when i was 7/8 years old. He was my first pet (appart from a family cat). I fell in love with the class hamster called Hammy so pestered my mum and dad for my own little friend that i didnt have to share with 30 other people. I can still remember all the emotions i felt after bringing him home from the local pet shop. I watched him all day and night, my eyes fixed to every move. I decided to call him Tom, after short listing my favorite names. Tom lived to over 2 years old, he had a couple of escapes, near call with the cat, but lived a very good life. He even had a friend who you will meet in a short while :)
Anyways here are some of my favorite pics.

My next little hamster came to me after he was disowned.... by my brother!!! He was a fluffy little guy who often ended up in the bath at night so my brother could get some sleep. He was another great escape artist, and famously managed to climb down from a high shelf, squeeze under a door, run along a corridor, squeeze under another door climb up the valance on my bed, over the duvet covers and ended up sitting on my face!! he gave me the fright of my life! After that incident it was fairly obvious that he wanted me to look after him, so i took him in where he lived next door to Tom, until Tom passed away. Shortly after Tom died, he started to loose his fur, until he was completely furless, whether this was due to stress of loosing Tom or of another cause we will never know. This little fella also lived a long happy life.
Introducing Father Ted (brother chose the name :? )
(Unforch i only have one pic, and it is pretty rubbish  )

This next guy is called Milo and arrived in 2002, when i was 14 years old. He was a nervous little character and i tried my best to tame him as best i could. He touches my heart so much because i totally failed him. He only lived to a year old and it was very much my fault. I watched him die in my hands. He helped me through a really difficult time at home and i was completely devistated when he died, after that my Dad vowed not to let me have another hamster. I also feel that his cage failed him, i still have it but it gathers dust, and my hamsters will never ever be housed in a crittertrail. Anyways here is my little boy.
