Sadly, after a battle with what the vet said was cystitis, my beloved Nippy passed away about three weeks ago.

I then came home yesterday to find that Cocoa, another of my hamsters, had died in her sleep. She was one that I had adopted from the local animal shelter so I had no idea of how old she is but over the past few days she seemed to age quite suddenly. I'm just glad to have provided her with a safe, loving home for her final months.

I'm so sorry Nippy and Cocoa have had to leave you. Cocoa must have loved Nippy very much to go to The Bridge with his friend.

Oh I'm so sorry, that's a big loss in such a short time :(. I'm so glad you were able to give Cocoa a loving home for her final months, she and Nippy will be playing together at the bridge with all our dearly missed little ones xx
