She has decided I'm quite interesting but she doesn't know if she likes me yet

She has some white markings

Thank you :D Seriously can't tell my bum from my elbow when it comes to hamster varieties
Can't get over how soft she is, I'm too used to rats!

I would say mink too and absolutely gorgeous! She looks like she is wearing a hamster jacket with that lovely white stripe up her chest.

I love the shots - they really show her character; so curious, stood on her back feet... she's definitely very interested in what's going on!

Always a good sign - I'm sure she'll tame up very well.

I think you've got a little beauty there :)

Ahhhh you have a 'micro Spud'!! (oops and a little Chip too) without a doubt mink and a lovely one. I did say they were one of my favourite colours, and you will see why yourself now Jessalina!

As she grows her fur will alter shade, becoming more orangey and rich, til it becomes a lovely browny orangey shade - here is a previous post I did with a pic of my Spud showing the adult shade (ignore the bar rub please - he is a very bad boy :? )

Aww, what a sweetie!

Looks mink to me too :D Which is one of my favourite colours (although I'm a bit biased), even if it isn't standardised.
I've always wondered why one of the big breeders don't try to get it standardised, I know bourne valley always has a few of them about, so surely they could?

She is becoming increasingly confident as you can see, although attempting to pick her up is met with some protest so we're taking it slowly. Food is definately the way to her heart!
Was woken at 6am this morning by an enthusiastic ham on her wheel. Still waiting on the Wodent *groan*

She's really lovely and she looks as though she has made herself right at home with you. She looks a happy little hammie. Good luck with the taming but it doesn't look as though you will have many problems to me.

She's beautiful - I love the stripe on her tum...and her ears are way to cute.
