Holly Fluffness

A real sad one to type. My Holly Wolly Fluffness has passed away tonight, aged 2 years and 3 months.

I came home tonight and Fluffness came out of her nest. She was struggling to walk and shaking. She circled the cage and went back to her nest. It was as if she heard me come home and wanted to show me she was ill. Her nose was bleeding and she had blood on her hand. i don't know if she stumbled and cut it or something. My dad said she was fine this morning. I knew she was in a bad way. i thought we may have to go to the vets and have her pts.

But then I picked her up and she was stone cold! Then i knew there was no point in the vet. I held her and said i loved her and put her back in her nest. She lay down with her head sticking out, occasionally breathing, for a while and then stopped breathing.

this was taken on a very hot day when Holly stopped for a rest. A took a photo because it was amazing that she was sitting still in her ball!

Aww Bunsey I am so sorry to hear of your loss. She had a long and happy life and was obviously a hamster of great character and much loved. Rest in Peace Miss Holly Wolly Fluffness :cry:

Oh, Bunsey - I'm so terribly sorry :cry:

She sounded like such a great character, and looked the most adorable hammie - she had a good life, and I know she will be missed.

oh you can be sure of that Gus, she will be working her way through a pile of pens, slippers, household bills and shoelaces as we speak!

Aww Bunsey, what a hard time you are having. I am so sorry to hear of Holly's passing, she looked a real character, and a right little livewire.

I bet her and Gemma are crossing the bridge together, talking about their favourite times at your house!
