Mimi's taken to the clouds..

It was pretty unexpected, but Mimi slipped away this morning. She only really started being frail and old ladyish about 1-2 days before she died ..so we really weren't expecting it. especially as she went in the night.
There's so many things i'll miss about her, like how she'd poke her nose out of her house when we called her, how she never failed to ransack my room, how she demanded attention 24/7, and her constant need to chew her way out of her (many) cages :') It'll be totally different without her, her cage even took up the most space..

It's shocking going down from 7 hamsters about 2 months ago, to only 4 now ..still not really accepting the fact that they've gone :(

We've buried her in the woods, where she can run free :')

I have 7 hamsters, so I know how you feel about that number, and I'm dreading the days of losing a few. Which will likely happen within this year, as 4 of my dwarf hams are over a year old.

I'm so sorry Mimi has had to go away. My two Campbells died like that. They had their suppers, collected their meal worms and died in their sleep. They were old.
Have a look round for them Mimi. Just look for a cheeky little chap, always up to mischief and a beautiful little girl who climbs everything she can find. Mummy will always love you and one day when you least expect it she will be there to fetch you. Mimi xxx
