How has your hamster responded to them?

Pardon? :D

My o/h posted that and she asked me to re post for her as she is away for a couple of days now - She is pregnant and after it gets late she becomes a bit incoherent ;)

I suspect she meant "in there" Perhaps ! We had a conversation last night she had no recollection of this morning. :x

I also have a couple more things which i made before these.
My syrians use them everyday,Tilly has her house to sleep in and also loves her look out tower and sits up there grooming most nights then falls asleep on it. Pearl has a different one with steps which she climbs and also uses as a doorway to her nest.Willow sleeps in her house and uses the roof as a platform. Beau wont be getting hers untill i get the new bigger cage and id like Binks my little old man to use the dwarf size one but he pees a lot and sleeps in a large size tube, he was 2 years old when i rescued him and hes settled so i dont want to change his layout.

Yes they are sturdy, noone has chewed them yet.....touch wood!

Thanks............the wide pointed sticks are plant labels from Wilkinsons, the light and dark sticks were wooden tablemats that i took apart. :)

lol those large plant labels are really convenient to use, I've built an entire platform out of them, I used about 4 packs...I wish they were a bit cheaper though

Some really good stuff you've made :)

do you use a hot glue gun or just normal glue? would love to make some but dunno what to stick them together with lol

sully

I use Copydex, then if you make a mistake when its dry the glue rubs off and you can start again, likewise if you need to change it later :)

That is so creative! In that picture with the darker brown flat squares - are those coasters or something? Anyways, neat collection of wood pieces. Makes me want to keep my eye out in stores for things like this that can be converted! Love it!

Lovely!
I like the Jenga idea.
It's inexpensive, and not just for hamsters, but can also be used for children and sometimes adults. Because of their thickness, they are hard to chew. Great job, I bet your hammy loves it!
