RIP Caitlin

She just passed away on Friday. She was my first "real" hamster. I had a hamster like ten years ago but my parents looked after him mostly. This one, I got her back in May. We didn't get along well at first, she bit a lot. And she hissed. She kind of scared me, actually. But I worked hard with her, patience, and I think she grew to almost like me! At least tolerate me :)
I headed off to work Friday morning. I even took her out and played with her that morning. And when I came home ... I thought she was just sleeping. I went to clean her cage and she did not move!
I'm so sad :(

I'm so sorry to hear about Catlin. She was a pretty little girl with lovely colouring. It takes a while for the hurt to go away. Sleep tight baby.xxx
