Bye Bye Gibbs

We only had him for 4 mos but he was such a cutie. He's the one in my avatar and he looks a bit evil but he was a good guy.
He was just under a year old and healthy just the day before-he was running on his wheel. I never saw any signs of illness, no wet tail or anything.
But we found him yesterday curled up in a ball and he had passed away.
My 10 yr old daughter found him and she was so upset-I felt bad for her because this was her first pet death. He was one of her 3 pets.

So we talked about it and she made a little headstone for him out of pretty rock. We buried him today.

I think he looked lovely, not evil at all. I'm so sorry he was called to the bridge so soon, it seems his passing was quick and peaceful. Play well little one xx

Rest in peace, little Gibbs :( He was a handsome ham, and it's so sad you did not get to share his life longer :( Some hams are just too good for us!
