Just before Halloween i went to pets at home for some hay, and came home with a rescue centre adoption hamster - Mona.

I knew she had been ill, I didn't know she still wasn't well at all. We made mistakes, i knew nothing about hamsters before i got her, and she taught us soo much!

Always on the go,
Always cheering me up, and always happy to see us, that was our Mona-Pie

As many of you know, just after Christmas she became visibly ill and we found out she had a tumour. Unfortunately an operation showed it was in her bowels, and she couldn't be saved, and so on the 28-12-11 she was put to sleep.
As our final tribute to her we had her cremated, and today she arrived back to us... were not sure where or if to scatter her yet, and so we've put a bit of her bedding, and the pie necklace we had made in the box with her until we decide.
