Seeing as I added a few of his pics to my introduction post I thought it was about time he had his own thread  Winston hasn't had a very good start to life, as he was found dumped somewhere, then he spent 5 days at a vets (not any animals favourite place!!), luckily a member of staff took him home and then he somehow found his way here last Wednesday  I think he's only young as he's got a baby face and he's really tiny, but then again after 3yrs of keeping rats anything smaller than them is tiny!! He's a real cutie
His first day here...

Aw, he's lovely! Fantastic pics too.

Herbert (our recent Syrian hamster adoptee) seems tiny to us too, but then we too have only been used to ratties and other large-ish rodents.

Handsome Winston... glad he's found you. :D

I like the escape pick too Jayne :lol:That's my favourite as well  I daftly thought he wouldn't be able to get out of the fort but he's proved me wrong

Herbert (our recent Syrian hamster adoptee) seems tiny to us too, but then we too have only been used to ratties and other large-ish rodents. They are tiny compared to rats aren't they!! And there was me thinking my little tailless Ida was small (tailless due to birth defect/very bad breeding), but she's much bigger than him

I took some more pics of my little cutie pie Winston last night, he started off looking like a normal syrian but suddenly he turned into a "Cobra", I thought it might have been due to the food I put in his fort but when I saw him........ well....... I soon realised why

He really has such a gorgeous face and looks like he is more than making up for his rough start in life - thanks for the pics! :xI think he is really making up for his rough start in life, and he's got me under his thumb already eg when it's "his" time he makes me wait until "he" is ready, which is normally an hour after I've woken him up

what cage is he in? it looks rather interesting! He's in a Marchioro Jack 62 which looks like this:

Oooh! I didn't know you could get that cage in the UK! I've looked at it loads of times on American sites..

He's beautiful... I do have a soft spot for cream bandeds!

I didn't know they existed until I saw it on the top shelf of Pampurred Pets, it was the only one there and it must have been waiting for me to buy it for a very long time, due to the amount of dust in the base of the cage and it was reduced, which is a bonus in my books

Winston says thank you and Becky has a soft spot for anything furry
