I thought as a newbie here I would post some recent photos of my hamster Poppy. She can be quite photogenic when she stays still for more than two seconds!!



I have just seen that there is a photo contest, shame I am a bit late for that :( Oh well, good luck to the other contestants :D

Welcome Hannah!! It is to bad you were a bit late for the photo contest! Your ham is very adorable and you’re right!! Pretty photogenic lol. I wonder what color you call a ham like that, do you happen to know?

Poppy is gorgeous, she appears like quite a character. She looks like a Short-haired Silver Grey? You could add her pictures to the Syrian gallery in the Syrian Section if you like :)

There has been a discussion about Poppy's colouring on another forum. With help from people on there it was decided she was a Light Grey Tortoiseshell and White banded !!!



I am glad that you like the photographs and I will do my best to pop back for posts. Work is pretty hectic at the moment so I haven't had as much time to log on lately. :(
