I believe Koda is a mottled blue fawn. or mottled Opal though he could be a lilac honestly his color looks like Lilac mixed with Blue fawn so its hard.

Anyway ... I was at jacks yesterday picking up bedding and stopped by the rodent cages ( as I always do I usually do not support pet stores though) When this guy poked his head out I thought he was cute and went to look in the other cage which had 3 solid white hams when he popped all the way out ... I SQUEALED ... OMG Does he look like Kodi ...

Oh heck I'm terrible with colors, but he's sure cute!! Also in some of the pictures he looked almost...chocolate? But then sometimes he looks more grey/blue. *sigh* Then again, I thought Little Boy was probably Opal, and he's most likely "Normal" so don't listen to me! :D

Either way congrats!!!

Such beautiful boys, how lucky you are!
Your new boy looks dove (two black genes, two argente genes) to me. He could be lilac (two black genes, two argente genes, and two opal genes). The difference is subtle, with lilac being a bit lighter than dove.

Prob lilac like I suspected then. Pet store hams tend to have more in them.

They tend to be heterozygous for more, but the chances of both of his parents carrying all three, and him recieving all three genes from both parents to be homozygous for all three are rather low. Chances are much greater that he is two gene homozygous but it is possible he is three.
But color isn't important :P he's a looker, they both are! Do they get along or do they live seperately?

Kodi is 11 months old its late to be introducing Kodi to anyone ... they are separate Koda has the 40 long Kodi the connected Cages .. I wish they could live together but its far too high risk to try

Its more a matter of curiosity thats all :) His color does not truly matter.

Some can have very deep red eyes, tricky hammies! How are your girls doing? I remember seeing them on another forum.

No his eyes are very bright red eyes he just burrowed before I got a good look at his eyes.

My girls are doing great. They arent really growing which is odd but considering their start in life it kind of makes sense unfortunately.

Thanks I actually need to get everyone more toys.

Aww he is so cute! I love him & his markings are beautiful. Kodi is so adorable too. I just love the way you can get Campbells in lots of coat colours like Syrians. Sweet!
Next time I get a Campbells I would love one like either of your two. :)

So ... Koda is a very fiesty little one ... It took us months to actually get a decent shot ... Turns out she is a she ... I cant hold her or even be around her human interaction sends her into panics so I just leave her be since thats how she is happy ... But yeah that was a bit of a surprise ...

Her color has also drastically changed she is almost pure white ... This picture is a few months old
