Treo - adorable and gross!

Treo gets blocked scent glands which I have been trying to clear it for over a week. But he hates beeing turned on his back and I admit I'm a bit of a wimp after he sunk his teeth into my finger last time >_<

But I finally managed to clear it, there was an 'impressive' amount of gunk...which Treo then ate #-o
Well...now you have that lovely image in your head I'll finish with some cuteness ;)

He did look damn adorable when he finally sat in my hand upside down, unfortunately I only caught the end of that when he went all wriggley again (he looks like hes dancing :mad:)

Hrm, just a thought--would it help to apply a tiny dot of plain antibacterial ointment after the extraction? Consistently pushing gunk out of glands can irritate the openings and make them vulnerable to infection. Poor little guy <3

You could be right that it could cause more of a problem, so far its only getting blocked occasionally. But if it gets any worse or more regular I'll speak to the vet about it.
I have a feeling its to do with the fact he can't clean it properly, as he started cleaning it when I held him like that, as if I was propping him up so he could do it.
