The Nail Thread. (Pics & Tips)

Hey guys.
I made up this thread purely out of fun :mad:

Basically, being girls, most of us love to paint our nails. This thread is for your pictures, hints, and tips and just about anything else to do with accessorizing our beloved nails.

I'm very boring with nails, always do them the same way. I use Rimmel "I love lasting finish", great budget price and pretty chip resistant.

Mine are always silver apart from the ring finger on my left hand. That's always black.

i love this thing i do on my toes..i put a 1 or 2 silver coats then a clear coat with blue and purple sparkles! it looks so pretty(:

Um, can't think of many tips people don't know. For doing detail you can use a cocktail stick or fine paint brush.
I did bee nails on a friend and they turned out pretty good! btw her hand isn't yellow, just the light :p

I LOVEE painting my Nails! :D Though currently my nails are shorter than ever :$ I bite them. Disgusting, I know. I try really ahrd not to, I need your guy's support to help me remember :mad: I lovveeee these: :mad:

Oh er sorry, the camera died just before I'd finished painting ;( They're blue with thin gold stripes :( And my toes are black with a purple sparkle on top D: xx

i dont bother with my nails, i used to do them all the time, but i use my hands too much and i can never stay chip free for longer then an hour or so, so i gave up :lol:

some thing i found that worked really well for nail art though, if your in a rush was gel pens!!! draw your pattern on and then put top coat over it

I do love to paint my nails, but only simple easy to do stuff :D
My sister on the other hand is a complete master at nail painting (and yes the nails are her natural length, not fake stuck on ones ;))

I would post a picture of my nails because i normally have looads of diffrent colours/styles!:D but now i just have neon pink!<3xx

I think pink is like my 'safety colour' with nail varnish, I always feel comfortable with it...if that makes sense?

yes i know what you mean!<3 pink & purple are my favourite colours so thats pretty much the only colours i have apart from green! :D (dont ask!)

Made a half attempt today but I've got a lot of practising to do :L Trying to get my nails to grow longer too but they keep breaking :(

I never paint my nails as I don't think it suits me :oops: I have only ever painted them clear or a pale, pale, pink (barely visible lol). The fact I bite my nails doesn't help either! :rolleyes:

I love painting my nails! It keeps me from biting them. The only problem is that they're kinda ugly :(

Right now they are just boring red because I had a handbell performance yesterday and they had to go with my black dress, but usually I have designs on them. I'm not very good though.

I'm still waiting for them to grow out. A few of them broke.

Yay! I have just transformed my plain red nails :D Sorry if the pictures are hard to see and my nails are really ugly :oops: Basically they have black nail polish in one corner, a heart in the other, and little light pink dots. And glitter polish over the top of it all. :)
