I only have one picture so far as my camera batteries have just died - she's currently out having a run in her new yellow ball and both Will and I have had a cuddle - she's a pussycat

Thanks guys, we think she's gorgeous

I'll get some more pictures ASAP but it may not be tonight as I'm working. She seems happy in her new Rex and even happier with her wodent wheel - should I be limiting her wheel running time at five weeks? She was on it a long time last night and I'm still just giving our babies a wheel for a few hours each evening.

I have the same dilema about wheels. In the group cages they get bumped off by one another so can't run for so long but Balou runs on his constantly. I have left it the last 2 nights because he is settling in but would welcome some advice.

She is beautiful Holly. Sables are one of my favourite colours. I am not sure what to suggest about the wheels except that we always just left them in and the novelty did wear off eventually.

She's settled in so well she's like one of the gang already. I know I'm biased but I think she's a gorgeous baby and I think she's going to be a beautiful lady

Minnie is a real sweetie. She's got a lovely face....but I also think that your Will is a sweetie too - what lovely baby blues he's got!

gosh it is wierd but you can almost tell the sex from the pictures I know Minnie was a girl before seeing her but there is just something... :?

She looks so comfortable being held - well done to you all for such a great job. And how much different is she from normal shop bought hamsters not just in temperment but physically - she looks really really good - I woud be trembling with fear if I was a hammy coming up against these guys at show.... (both stunners  )

I'd say, when we got her at five weeks, she was about the size of our pet shop hams (Treacle, Custard and Mocha) were when we got them - and they were all eight weeks old!

Now - at almost 7 weeks - she is HUGE. I think that's obviously down to her good breeding but also the fact that she doesn't run on her wheel much at all really, so all her energy goes into growing. her face and her body have really filled out and she's adorable (just what I really hope our babies will turn out to be - at the moment all the girls seem a bit skinny to me and all they seem to do is run....and run....and run :? ).
