I would not feed human biscuits Danvill as they contain too much sugar for hamsters. A tiny piece of dijestive or rich tea is OK as a treat occasionally though. A good thing to give is a Bonio dog biscuit (Bonios are best as they contain no salt). They are nice and hard and good for chewing.
As for wood chews. I am not familiar with that type of wood but you can give a washed branch from some type of fruit tree such as apple of pear. Not a citrus tree or any type of pine though as they can be toxic. You may find they will not chew wood, prefering cardboard boxes to chew and trash and hard dog bisuits or a walnot shell instead!
