Poppy has died

we haven't had a very good hamster time over the last few days. after taking Mocha to the vet, we separated max and paddy and then found Poppy dead. She died of old age at 2yrs 2months old. Her sister Lily is really sad and missing her. Poppy was the one who took charge and mothered Lily.

Ah Bunsey, I'm so sorry to hear that. She looks so gorgeous in her pictures. RIP Poppy.

I am so sorry to hear of the loss of little Poppy. I hope her sister will cope and be comforted by your extra love. They were such a beautiful pair and she had a long and happy life with you Bunsey.

I am so sorry to hear that you have lost your litle one...I lost my Hamish nearly 3 years ago now and I still miss him so much. They leave such a hollow in our lives.

i'm trying to give lily as much encouragement as possible and keep her company. i'm hoping she's feeling better before half term when we go away. i originally didn't choose her as one of the hams to take with us, because her and poppy were really settled and would've been fine alone. now i'm thinking lily might need me. i really need 2 cars! :lol: i can only fit two cages in, so i have to choose just 2 hams to take!
