Also he has just managed to land a really exciting new job which will give him plenty of new challenges and is a total change of direction. He had lots of stiff competition too - so well done for that too! :x

oooh Souffle - you gave away the 'surprise present' :x only joking. It doesn't sound a very romantic gift does it 'a pen' but it is a very expensive, nice one, and he did get some other stuff too (clothes books).
As for a new hamster, well I think we have had a lot of new additions to our home recently, so we will wait and see whether our Princess and Dubaku can produce some gorgeous babies to add to our menagerie in due course! :D

well i was expecting there to be a birthday hamster when i got home to be honest Souffle, but then realised Spud's Mum doesn't really need an excuse anyway... if she wants a ham she gets a ham!

The pen is lovely, looks very posh and expensive. Think i will need a chain on it like those pens in the banks though... am petrified i will lose it! :)
