Bru - one in a million

Although a Custard Hamster Bru was always my own very special boy. He was one of our Napoliana litter and I had a feeling about him from the day he toddled out the nest. His fur felt so soft that you could have been holding a cloud and his face was the most beautiful face you could ever see. He was a very soft and gentle animal and he was always willing to come out and sit on a little kiddies knee and teach them about how nice hamsters really are. His fur glowed with the rich orange cinnamon just like his grandmother Bailey and he never lost his lovliness right up till his crossing over. We were so proud of him when he won so many prizes and even a certificate of merit at Bradford Champs. He had one litter with Midnight's beautiful Sunset and we still have Mattie and Hullaballoo here with us.
He was an old man, the last of his litter and we are so pleased that we shared this life journey with him. Play well at the bridge Bru and say hi to all those Custards who are waiting for you there. You are so much missed you big soft man and there is a big space in my heart.
See you again some day sweetheart
