Baby chickies!

Well to cut a long story short, 15 eggs went in incubator, we were down to four, one started hatching last night, by about 7:30 this morning it had hatched, two more chickies making their way off of the eggs too :wink:

Oh, they're maran chickens :wink:
This is only one btw lol, the others havn't hatched yet :roll:

Thats wonderful Jane. Quite a little miracle :lol: Do you live on a farm? What is a maron chicken like when it grows up?

Nope I don't live on a farm, but dad would LOVE a farm. We have 10 chickens, 5 ex-battery hens, 2 maran hens, 1 maran cockral, and 2 hens which were found wandering around next door but ones garden (both at seperate times)

Unforunately I don't have any decent photos of our adult marans at the moment, but am hoping to do a photoshoot tonight if the rain holds off for me ;)
