Well...now I have Tic, Tac and Toe (three campbell dwarfs living together) I'm considering getting them a ball each but I'm not sure...

Soo..
Do you think I should get some more?
They don't need to be as big as Charlies, right? How big should they be?
I was thinking because they all live together and I don't want them to fall out, could I put Tic in ball 1, Tac in ball 2, Toe in ball 3, then after 5 bins swap them all, then 5 mins later swap them again so they can smell the other hams?
or is it not worth buying any?
Any ideas where they are cheap? Am willing to cellotape the ends if I need to, but in my local pet shop its about £6 even for the tiny ones!

Opinions please? ;)

We've got dwarf-size balls for Sparrow and Turner - they were two quid each off a market stall. They aren't as good as the Pennine (large) ones as the door is less secure - we tape the doors.

We do exactly as you have suggested and swap them halfway through so that they don't have different scents on them - as this can apparently be a major falling out trigger.

They love them and I say go for it

Thanks :)

Someone on another forum suggested putting them all in one big ball?

Any other suggestions? :)

I'm the total oppisite of a hamster expert, but I think putting all three of them in one big ball at the same time would be a bad idea. Someone could get hurt! I mean, if Tic was washing itself and Tac and Toe decided to go forward... It would be a mess!

I agree, they might all try and go different ways and end up going nowhere! Be sure to keep swapping them around the balls or you could just get one ball and let them have turns with the other two staying together while one runs.
