Kind of hamster(s): Female Russian Winter White (Agouti)
Hamster age(s): 4 months (11/01/2011)
Reason they were abandoned? Recent split with partner means that this young girl needs a new home. If it weren't for the fact that we had seven hamsters between us, I'd definitely keep her and the others. Unfortunately, I need to be realistic and I can't give her the love and attention she deserves. I'm hoping someone else can provide a better home for her.
Any health problems/special needs? None that I know of. She was adopted from a well respected local show breeder so has a good temperament and likes to be handled. As a baby, her left ear was bitten but this has healed and has caused no problems since
Any behavioral problems? Again nothing to my knowledge. When I first got her, she liked to nip but has never drawn blood. She is very curious and likes to explore.
Type of household hamster would best be suited to: Any and all. She's a confident curious hamster but she can also be left on her own.
