Is there a special digital camera without flash or something??? I know hamsters get shocked or something with flash. I can only take pictures of them with the computer and I can't take a picture of them in my hands or something because mine are robos and they get excited and they're escapees! :?:

People come on and off the forum when they have free time so it sometimes takes a while to get an answer Jelly.
We don't actually have a problem with the flash. I think ours are used to it. Perhaps you could take your robos outside in natural light in a deep box then give them a tasty treat and snap away while they are busy. Most digital cameras have a button where you can switch off the flash so if you have them in good light such as near a window you could switch it off and try that way. Distract them with a food treat and snap loads of pics and you are sure to get a nice one

yeah, that's what I thought. I know people don't reply right away because the forum isn't very crowded and there isn't many members

There are actually 285 members which is quite a lot. People come and go as their life circumstances change and I think you will find the information on this forum is much more specific and specialised than some of the massive 'all pet' type sites such as Petwebsite. I hope you enjoy it and find that everyone does their best to help you out with any questions you have on hamsters.

Its much harder to take photos of robos as, like you say they get excited and run all over the place!

Don't worry about the flash as long as you don't stick it in their faces they are fine having their photograph taken using one.
