Hey everyone,



I just recently joined the forum. I currently have one hamster right now. Her name is Pumpkin (there are pictures posted in the Syrian Hamster Section :wink: ) I've had her for about a month. My boyfriend got her for me as a surprise. I'm not sure how old she was when I bought her but she definitely wasn't a little baby. She just recently started growing long hair behind her ears and on her bum. Not sure what age they start growing that. I have had 4 hamsters in the past. I just love my hammies!

Hi Catalat, CUTE hammie! If Pumpkin is just starting to grow tufts out of her bottom / neck area she may be around 3-4 months but this can vary. Maybe someone else could give an approximate guess?

Thank you everyone. Yes, Gerald looks similar to Pumpkin. He is a real cutie :wink: .
