Winter coat changes thread [Archive]

I thought this would be an interesting thread for some (or maybe just for me?) to share all your photo's of your dwarfies changes in coat from normal to winter coat. I like seeing the differences maybe you all will too?

Brussels is the only one of mine with a big difference literally in the space of a week! (in attatchments)

Cinnamon and zoe had slight changes in theirs too mainly on their faces and they are obviously hybrids, but I'll show you them as well.

Lovely! I have experience only with two winter whites and they did not change (only the first one got darker after a couple of months)...

Im not sure if Lizzie does lol she came to me in January so would have already been in her winter coat.
What do you guys reckon?
Also any idea on her colouring?

She has a browny tinge around the edges of the grey x

Awww she is beautiful!! she looks soo much like my Princess and Robert did in that last picture <3 I think she looks more Campbell's but maybe has some winter white in her too making her change a little? She does look different in those pics

She was bought in P@H so I assumed she was hybrid, and didnt know if she would change due to her being half/half as such lol.

But is lovely to know her colouring :) xx

It seems that over night, Brussels has put on a blind fold!! Lol His summer coat is growing back really funky! Will post a pic tomorrow :D

Obviously this is no way near as interesting as some of the coat changes on here, but I thought I would add some pictures nonetheless! As a pearl, Topaz is obviously white anyway, but her grey ticking has increased quite a bit over the past few weeks, and from being all white apart from the dorsal stripe and a couple of small patches of ticking, most of her back is ticked, and I have noticed a rather bizarre line dividing grey from white across her bum! I think it looks like a tan line almost.
So here is a picture of her a couple of months back, then two pictures of her with her line!

ooh I like this thread, I hope more ppl post pics of their WW's I have just recently gotten my first and he's a pearl, so I don't expect any interesting pics to share of his coat change (I'm hoping he stays exactly as he is! lol, I love him almost pure white he's so cute :) )

Yeah me too. I'm looking forward to all three of mine changing again this year. I hope Hugo goes pure white again. I noticed last night that John's Hattie has a little patch starting on her bum. :)

I'm quite surprised at this thread... I read somewhere that only the normal WW's coats change... So can any WW potentially have a coat change?

I do love all the different colours and I love the little love heart shape on Gizmo!!! How gorgeous!!

Well considering Hugo is one of my Sapphires he had the most change out of all of them. Huxley my Agouti only had white patches. :)
So yep any WW can change :)
