soooo...although I went to willington show today with just one little hammy.
Somehow I got mixed up and an extra two ended up coming home :rolleyes: I'll never know just how they managed to jump in the box and into my car! ;)

Please welcome two new baby boy winterwhites (one pearl, one normal) :mrgreen:
They are so gorgeous and I'll show them off once they've settled overnight.
Honestly it wasn't planned (blame some naughty HC members who encouraged me :p)and they are currently in a tall storage bin without the lid until I get a new cage for them (my sister stole the ZZ2)

Piccies tommorow after they've had a night to settle :)
I think they are going to be called Squishy and Squirt x

Thankyou everyone, i forgot to mention that they are bred by mad about hamsters and have excellent lines.
A judge kindly looked over the litter for me and pointed out which would do best in show. I'll see how they grow up to be, it doesn't matter to me as either way they will be loved to bits :D

I woke up this morning to find the water bowl...GONE:confused:
Finally I found it buried right at the bottom of the cage :rolleyes: so i've now rigged up a water bottle holder.
I also couldn't find squishy or squirt, but it looks like Treo has been whispering some of his tricks in the night. They sleep under the cardboard box just like big brother Treo :mrgreen:

Mad about hamsters :) From the Nickel x Dime (AKA Wellingtons fluff) litter. I feel very lucky to have one of teresa lovelies :D

Sneak peek of my babies, they are very fast and hard to photograph, so apologies for the blur ;)
They are a bit wary of me so I decided to leave our first bathtub session till tommorow. But they have both bravely sniffed my hands and Squishy even stepped onto it:mrgreen:

the boys seemed more settled this evening so I decided to have our first bathtub taming session :)
It went really well and they were both very brave. You can definitley tell that squishy is the outgoing of the two, he was running over my legs and my hands no bother, but hes also incredibly difficult to snap (he kept attacking the camera too:roll:)
Although saying that, Squirt was first to eat the millet off my hand (definitley the food orientated one;))

Lol I'm not sure actually they are quite secretive while in the cage and do most of the activity while I'm asleep.
I have a feeling it might have been Squirt as squishy decided to camp out under the stick bridge for a couple of days :roll:

Aww lovely to see them hamstering around, they seem pretty chilled out and nice and calm though which is good, even if they do have a little nibble! But then Boz still nibbles me even after all this time! I think he just likes to let me know whos boss! (not me clearly! :roll: )

yh, squirt has given me some tester nips aswell but its a good way for them to learn what I am ;)

New cage arrived today :mrgreen:
luckily they left it at a neighbours for me.

Below shows their current bin with the duna multy underneath. Its a lovely green colour which I didn't expect (it looked white on the photo). Not bad condition apart from a few cracks and some rust, but nothing worth bothering about.

A closer look at the bin, nothing amazing but its worked well for the past week. Will move them tommorow :)
