We got them yesterday from LMDH at Lymm - Sparrow is a Pearl and Turner is a Normal and their new home is a Gabber Rex:

We've known for a couple of weeks that we were getting them so we've been very excited - and they are absolutely adorable. Now we've got a happy hammy family of FIVE! 8)

We found we kept saying 'the pearl' and it reminded us of Pirates so the names were decided for us really. I already have a Will so they'll be 'Sparrow and Turner' for short - Jack and Will might get a bit confusing :D

For your interest everyone these are beautiful examples of winter whites. The face has the 'roman nose' characteristic of a WW and the arches on the side of the standard colour are clearly defined. The dorsal stipe is nice and the shape of the animals correct :lol:

Aww thanks Souffle and Pophammy - those are beautiful clear pictures of our boys - definitely the best we have of them so far 8)

We've just had our evening play session with Treacle, Custard and Mocha - we've started feeding them slightly earlier in the evening so that playtime is a little less rushed (they don't seem to mind too much) and Sparrow and Turner were awake so we got them out again just for few minutes :wink:

Now they are both sitting quite still, Turner in the open wheel and Sparrow in the wodent wheel - perfect photo opportunity - but my battery is flat :?

They seem to be settling in fine - we got them out this morning as I worked late last night and they were fine - really tame and a joy to see.
