I'm concerned about my housing set-ups for my dwarfs. I have my duo in a Ferplast Duna Fun, with connecting tubes, cubes and gym, and my single in 2 combi ones and a space lab joined together. Having read so much on here, I feel like neither is really appropriate.

So I'm thinking of creating a bin cage for Langly and Byers, so they are all on one level and have lots of 'running' space (Byers loves to free run), and then popping Frohike into the Duna Fun and tubes, as she is much more of a climber and likes lots of hidey holes to peak out of. Does this sound like a sensible plan?

Wilkinson's have a box which is 40 x 79 x 24, is this an appropriate size for two dwarfs? I want something that is going to keep them happy and have plenty of room, so please advise me if you think I should go bigger. Obviously I know the bigger the better, but the cage does have to live on a table top, so I can't be too outrageous!

Thanks :)

Are you sure Width and Length isn't the other way around?

I'd say it's okay as long as you don't plan to use high toys. :) Just check the wheels fit.

79 cm sounds really good , you could turn it round so that 79cm would be the length , im not sure about just 24 cm as height though

That's the way it's stated on the website, though for a box I don't think it really matters. :)

Have already measured the wheels and they would fit, they would be the highest thing. It's more the floor space that I'm concerned about, is that going to be enough running space for them?

It's around the same size as a Zoozone so I'd say it's fine. :D

I have two robos in that bin, and they seem very happy :)

Thank you for the info, but I actually managed to get a cheap tank on Ebay, so I no longer need this bin. I'll keep it in mind for another time though! :)
