Anybody have any ideas to make or put a sort of makeshift ramp in Goliath's cage??? I've thought of a ton of things, but really none of them have worked really, so just... any ideas at all I'm very open...

i bought some lolly sticks and glued them all together, then to strengthen it, glued soem thick cardboard to the back :)

you could also just get a bit of wood, then glue sticks or something to it for little footholds.

What kind of glue?
I don't know if you guys have elmers.... but would that be alright? It's like a child's glue, non-toxic and all that.

I made a ramp out of lego :D But it was more of a staircase

O.O I never even thought of it. Unfortunately my mom abducted all of our legos when we outgrew them and took them to let her first grade students play with them... >.<

In the bin that I made I used one single 'plank' of wood, initially it was smooth but I found out that Buster used it as a slide rather than a propper ramp :(
However I took a saw and cut shallow grooves (one stroke with the saw) in it to make grippy lines in it and he uses it fine now :D

I used bamboo skewers as well with jute string and stiff wire to make a 'ladder' (in the middle of the top-down second picture) as well.. worked fine but is now used as a walkway in his 'basement' on top of the woodchip to his sandbath :D

I see.... -searches- I has no random wood lying around i don't think. I mean my dad's a carpenter and my brother IS redoing his house like his walls and stuff... maybe i can rescue some extras from the trash from what they don't use...
Yay! Not to sound demanding, but more ideas please! :)

Well when i was out shopping one day i wondered into a pet store.. and found this cat scratch post:

I tried it out on my cat.. but he wasnt impressed.. I tried it out on my hams, they LOVED it.. up, down, up, down they went and it trims there nails too! And i made sure it was animal/hammie safe rope in case they decided to chew or mess around with it..

Maybe use a hammie safe rope and make one yourself? Just an idea.. :p

here's a picture :) I just glued the pieces together with a hot glue gun, there's no mesh on it in this picture though but I just stapled mesh onto it
