I'm from Boston MA and wanted to say hello. I am somewhat new to hamsters. I currently own a 6 yr old Cocker Spaniel, four budgies/parakeets, and two sibling female Campbell's dwarf hamsters.

Feel free to ask me anything. It's good to be here!

Oh yay someone from the US and not to far from me hehe. I'm from Connecticut. We don't have to many folks from the US, most of the big time hammy enthusiasts seem to come from the UK :) Which is fine by me, I love there silly terminology. Everything is brilliant with them and they seem to love flicks ;) *pokes members from the UK playfully*

Welcome to the community Tiger, its nice to have you with us, How long have you owned your Campbells? what are their names.. and can we see pictures!!?

Oh! precious little lovelies, they are adorable! Beautiful colors as well! I've always wanted some Campbells, but between three dwarf robo's, one syrian and six gerbils there is no room! lol

Thanks so much for sharing! are you going to create a profile and upload picture there as well? I hope that you do :)

Penelope and Olivia are great names, and they go well together! So where they planned or sort of a spur of the moment thing? They really are adorable though :)

Well I had some of these hamsters when I was younger but I don't remember much about them, so when I found these little cuties they were a bit of an impulse. I did my research last night before picking them up though and found out about the bin cages, which I may make. I just wish I could find someone to help me with it a bit as I don't really have all the necessary tools... but we'll see.

Hi and welcome from another newbie - I can well remember the excitement and joy of bringing our hamsters home for the first time (in December). Your two little one's are beautiful, hope they are settling in well. :)

Aww I love olivia's colouring on her back, makes me want campbells but I'm always worried about there reputation for biting. Is it true?

They are both so cute, Im not sure if I like one better then the other! how could one decide?! They are so soft looking! Much different from my greasy looking robo's haha. I just want to stuff them in my pockets and run away with them hehe

Hana, mine don't bite at all! They might nibble a lil bit but you can barely feel it. They were raised by a guy that handled them all the time and they are fine. What kind(s) of hamster do you have?

Oh I guess I've heard some bad things that arn't completly true for all campbells. The man at my local pet shop said they were a horrible breed and that were always biting! I spose it depends how they were raised.

I have 2 winter whites, Snowy and Smokey! :D
