Hi Guy's not been around for a while, you know how it is 14 hammies 2 dogs 2 cats 2 rabbits and 2 children, well 3 if you count the Hubby.

Anyway I have been rescuing hamsters in my area for nearly a year now, Little Smokey came in a broken little man, with hardly any fur, scabs all over his body and severley under weight, I thought this poor little man is lucky to be alive, After a course of antibiotics and some tlc he graduly got better, and then it happened, I did the usual home from work feed all the hammies every cage I went to I was greeted by hello mum what you got for us today, Smokey however did not come out as he always does, I knew there was something wrong, I opened his cage and it was clear that he had suffered from a stroke. I cuddled him untill I went to bed and this morning I found him still curled up in his bed but not there.

So Smokey rest in peace little one and play well at the bridge, Good night sweety

Love Mum x x x x x
