It was a while ago she went. Just thought she'd like a small memorial. The most horrible thing is that I might have been in the room when it happened. I sat at the comp and heard how she were running around in her cage. All of a sudden it stopped, so I figured she had gone to sleep.

I went to bed. I were staying home from school at the moment so I found her the next morning when I wanted to take her out to play. She had moved her nest from the corner to the middle under her shelf so I had to move it.

She laid flat on her side, mouth open and all.

What I found the hardest to do, was to clean out the cage. You just remembered where she had her habits and the moments you had together with her. Here was the nest, (she never fancied the houses, she liked to build one herself. Here was where the baby laid, and so on and so on...

Cried through the whole thing, who wouldn't? Gave her a "Viking" like funeral sense it fit her well, being such a tough girl. Meaning I put a stack of rocks over the grave, often used as a way to show whealth.

RIP Nome

I just found some pictures of Nome, I'm so glad to finally see her face again. They are really blurry but it's the thought that counts :)
She's the one down to the left.
